You will never have the guarantee that your idea is a good one.
With new ideas come fear of failure and fear of success.
How do you know if it's gonna work? YOU DON'T.
The only way you will ever know if something works is to let the market decide.
You have to put something out there to test and figure it out as you go.
Most people try something once and get this mindset that they have "tried everything", but is that true? No, because trying everything would eventually lead to finding a way to make it successful.
This idea of having "tried everything" or "tried 1000 things" usually means, they tried one thing, one time, with a crap mindset, assuming it wasn't going to work...
If you want your idea to work, you put it out there and continue to test it over and over to see what works.
All marketing is testing, there is no guarantee.
This is why it's so important as an entrepreneur to let go of your worth being tied to the outcome.
If something goes well you will feel great about yourself, but if something goes bad, you will think you're bad.
You are NOT your results.
Most of what you try in business isn't going to work and that's okay until you have consistent data to play on.
When you do find what works, it will compound over time and eventually take off.
For me - in the beginning, it wasn't the product that was wrong.... it was the way I sold it.
Ultimately, this is a courage issue. Not a product issue.
It's just fear.
You can either deal with the pain and discipline of testing, or the pain of regret by never putting yourself out there.
Jim Rohn said:
"The pain of discipline weighs ounces,
the pain of regret weigh tons"
Marketing, pricing, sales, they are all skillsets you can learn along the way so don't wait to put yourself out there!
Approaching it with the mindset of confidence, courage, and detachment, you will find a way to succeed!
There are no guarantees in business!
The only thing guaranteed is CHANGE.
Adopt a mindset of courage so that you can test your idea.
Courage is not the absence of fear. It's feeling the fear and going after it anyways because the potential benefit far exceeds the potential pain. The cost of not doing is way less than the cost of staying the same.
If you are feeling fear less often... it means you need to play BIGGER!
Most of the time what you fear is exactly what you need to lean into.
Success comes from good judgement, good judgement come from experience , experience typically comes from bad judgement.
If you find yourself struggling with this, it may be your unique success archetype.
It may be the way you have been conditioned to try to approach success.
By finding out your unique success archetype, you will see if you are limited in any way on your path to success.
If you're not feeling courageous or feelings of fear continue to show up, it's probably your archetype.
You can learn how to outgrow your patterns that are keeping you in the same spot and identify the patterns that help you thrive.
